Recap: Special Needs Financial Planning Workshop with Bradley Davis, CFP®, ChSNC®
On September 16, 2026, we were honored to host Bradley Davis, a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®), for a presentation designed specifically for parents and caregivers of children with special needs.
As an autism parent himself, Brad brought a firsthand understanding of the questions and challenges families face when planning for their child's future. He leads the Special Needs Planning division at Investment Strategists at Better Banks, and is a frequent speaker on special needs planning topics for schools, groups, and organizations throughout the community.
What We Covered
Brad walked attendees through key resources and information to help families make informed financial decisions, including:
Special Needs Trusts
ABLE Accounts
PUNS (Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services)
Future government benefits, including SSI/Medicaid and SSDI/Medicare
An open Q&A session, where families were able to ask questions specific to their own situations
Thank you to everyone who joined us — it was a wonderful turnout, and we loved seeing so many families walk away with clearer answers and helpful next steps for planning their child's future.
